Caroline at the Park
The baby pictures at the bottom were Caroline... when she was a baby. Now she's a toddler! Well, she'll be 2 in November, so I don't know what that makes her, but she's really tall and running on this bridge at the park in Lisle before the fireworks. The taller girl that she bumps into is her cousin Madelyn.

People on our balcony
People on our balcony. See? We have year-round rope lights. Here's Erin & Tylor on my 25th birthday.
Katie, Megan, Jon, Erin & Tylor, 25th birthday, again
Me and Megan, same birthday. See the rum on the cooler? That would explain the tongue.
Danny and his "boyfriend" Jim. Ok, so we took a lot of pictures on the balcony that night and not a whole lot since...(by the way if you're wondering, I'm 28 now. So that gives you an idea of how old these are. I'll be 29 in August) You'd be able to see that Danny and Jim have a redheaded guy connection, but it's in black and white. Could you tell?
Emma & Charlie Roller, Mother's Day 2007. Doesn't Charlie look like a younger, smart-aleck version of Mr. Joe Anderson? I think so...
Balcony 2
This is the same thing. It's longer. And it's kind of more...dizzy inducing. But you get to see the view from our balcony!
I was walking around kind of mumbling, but I was saying that we have no cicadas on our balcony, so I can't show any, and then I looked down and said, "I wonder if you can see them on the ground", but no, because our camera doesn't have zoom. (It's a digital camera that has a stupid video feature.) Then I went to the other side of the balcony to see if there were any cicadas lying around, and nope, there were none. Beyond the trees is our small lake. It doesn't have a cool name. It's just the lake. And the cat on the video is Jasper.
We had just expected to see more...well any cicadas since we live in a wooded area and the trees have been there more than 20 years (17 is the magic number). We saw 2 mating in the parking lot. It was really cool, and I took a picture with my cell phone, and it wasn't that great, so it's not here. I don't even know where it is. It's on my old cell phone, I guess. But I digress...
Our Balcony
Caution: you may feel like you've got motion sickness....it's a crummy camera. This is me walking around on our balcony, trying to give the viewer to get an idea of what it sounded like on June 5, 2006 with the really loud cicadas. But unfortunately, the camera sucks. It just sounds like the sound is bad, but it's really the cicadas. It's too bad, because they were really loud everyday when I came home for lunch, and it just didn't come across that way.

Virginia Beachers
Lynn came into town with Lizzie, Emma and Grant. Danny and I snapped a few pictures and here's what we came up with.
Shhh...don't mention the broom, whatever you do.
Grant discovers what a screen door can do...
..and he found Lynn's phone.
Lizzie and Emma had some kind of top secret tree branch manufacturing thing going on. I'm not allowed to tell you what they were doing.
And some cuddles for Uncle Danny.
